e-Books Conference - February 25th - Melbourne

Thanks to all those who have completed the online survey on ebooks so far,
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/XJQDVJY
the results have been very interesting.

So, we are running a Saturday morning "Implementing e-Books" conference or PD on 25th February.
Just down the road at the Darebin Arts and Entertainment Centre on Bell St Coburg, more later when we open registrations.

But the draft plan is a three hour set of sessions hearing from teachers, librarians, and school IT people about what exactly e-Books are ( and are not ) and the tricks, tips, traps, hazards, joys, and pain, of actually introducing them and using them in the school environment.

There will be sessions for complete beginners as well as experts, and the focus will be on resources - non-fiction and fiction - used right across schools, but not ignoring personal e-reader issues.

Its going to be fun and very informative,

See you there,

Tom Danby
